Tamil Nadu Class XII State Board Examinations Conclude in Trichy District
The Tamil Nadu state board Class XII examinations officially concluded on Thursday, marking the end of the academic assessment period for higher secondary students across the region. In Trichy district specifically, the examinations were conducted smoothly across a total of 134 designated centers, commencing from March 2 and wrapping up with the computer science paper on the final day.
Significant Student Participation and Evaluation Timeline
More than 30,000 students from Trichy district appeared for these crucial board examinations, which are a pivotal milestone in their academic careers. The evaluation process for the answer sheets is now set to begin shortly, with a scheduled timeframe from April 8 to April 20. This two-week period will be dedicated to the meticulous correction and assessment of student responses to ensure accurate and fair results.
Designated Evaluation Centers and Teacher Allocation
The evaluation work in Trichy district will be carried out at four strategically selected centers to manage the large volume of answer sheets efficiently. These centers include St James Matriculation Higher Secondary School located in Cantonment, Govt Model Girls' Higher Secondary School in Mannachanallur, Govt Girls' Higher Secondary School in Musiri, and Thiagesar Alai Higher Secondary School in Manapparai.
A substantial team of approximately 1,700 teachers has been mobilized to undertake the correction duties. The distribution of these educators across the evaluation centers is as follows:
- 800 teachers will be stationed at the primary Trichy center.
- 300 teachers are allocated to the Musiri center.
- 350 teachers will work at the Mannachanallur center.
- 250 teachers are assigned to the Manapparai center.
This organized allocation aims to streamline the evaluation process, ensuring that it is completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
