The Tamil Nadu state board Class XII examinations officially concluded on Thursday, marking the end of the academic assessment period for higher secondary students across the region. In Trichy district specifically, the examinations were conducted smoothly across a total of 134 designated centers, commencing from March 2 and wrapping up with the computer science paper on the final day.
Significant Student Participation and Evaluation Timeline
More than 30,000 students from Trichy district appeared for these crucial board examinations, which are a pivotal milestone in their academic careers. The evaluation process for the answer sheets is now set to begin shortly, with a scheduled timeframe from April 8 to April 20. Designated Evaluation Centers and Teacher Allocation

A substantial team of approximately 1,700 teachers has been mobilized to undertake the correction duties. The distribution of these educators across the evaluation centers is as follows:
- 800 teachers will be stationed at the primary Trichy center.
- 300 teachers are allocated to the Musiri center.
