UPESSC Unveils Advanced Command Center to Combat Exam Malpractices in Prayagraj
In a significant move to enhance the integrity of examinations, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has established a state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Room at its Prayagraj office. This initiative aims to ensure transparency and eliminate malpractices during upcoming tests.
Inauguration and Key Features
The control room was officially inaugurated on Tuesday by Prashant Kumar, the chairman of UPESSC. This facility leverages cutting-edge AI cameras to monitor every room in all examination centers, as well as the candidates present. The system provides continuous surveillance over the centers and their immediate surroundings, enabling immediate detection of any irregularities.
Live Monitoring and Biometric Verification
From this centralized hub, live feeds and recordings of candidates' biometric attendance and verification processes will be accessible at the commission's office. This real-time oversight is designed to uphold the transparency of the examination process and allow for swift, effective action in case of any malpractice.
Officials Present and Broader Impact
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several key officials, including the managing director of the executing agency, members of the commission, the secretary, the controller of examinations, the deputy secretary, and other staff. This collaborative effort underscores the commission's commitment to maintaining high standards in educational assessments.
By implementing such advanced technology, UPESSC aims to set a new benchmark for fair and secure examinations in Uttar Pradesh, potentially influencing other regions to adopt similar measures.
