UPPSC LT Grade Admit Cards Out for Jan 17-18 Exam

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the crucial preliminary examination for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers under the Trained Graduate (LT Grade) category. Candidates can now download their hall tickets for the examination, which is scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18, 2025.

How to Download Your Admit Card

All registered candidates must visit the official website of the commission at https://upppsc.up.nic.in to access their admit card. The download process requires candidates to log in using their unique One Time Registration (OTR) number. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination centre along with a valid photo ID proof.

Exam Schedule and Subject-wise Details

The Commission has confirmed that the examination will proceed as per the pre-announced timetable. On January 17, the Social Science paper will be conducted in the morning session from 9 AM to 11 AM. This will be followed by the Biology paper in the afternoon session from 3 PM to 5 PM.

On January 18, the English paper is scheduled from 9 AM to 11 AM, and the Physical Education exam will take place from 3 PM to 5 PM. These four subjects collectively account for the recruitment to a total of 1,826 LT Grade teacher posts.

UPPSC Deputy Secretary Omkar Nath Singh provided detailed insights into the Social Science paper structure. He stated that the paper will comprise four distinct sections: Geography, History, Economics, and Civics. Each section will contain 60 questions. Candidates will have the flexibility to attempt questions from any two sections of their choice, in addition to 30 compulsory questions from General Studies.

Addressing Festival Concerns and Entry Rules

The Commission has addressed concerns raised by some candidates regarding potential disruptions on January 18 due to the Mauni Amavasya festival, which often leads to significant movement restrictions and traffic congestion in the region. In a clear clarification, the UPPSC stated that no examination centres have been established in Prayagraj city itself in view of the large religious gathering.

Deputy Secretary Singh reaffirmed that the examination will be held on the scheduled dates without any postponement. He also outlined strict entry protocols for the examination day. Entry to the examination centres will commence 1.5 hours (90 minutes) before the start of the exam. The gates will be firmly closed 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the paper. Candidates are strongly advised to plan their travel accordingly to ensure timely arrival.

This recruitment drive is a significant opportunity for aspiring teachers in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates are urged to download their admit cards immediately, verify all details carefully, and begin their final preparations for the examination.
