Vidya Vikas Institute Hosts Large-Scale Mock CET Ahead of State Exam
In a significant initiative to prepare aspiring engineers, the Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVIET) in Mysuru organized a comprehensive mock Common Entrance Test (CET) on Monday. This event was strategically timed to provide students with a realistic simulation of the examination environment, just days before the official Karnataka CET, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday and Friday. The mock test aimed to alleviate anxiety and enhance readiness among candidates by replicating the actual test conditions.
Widespread Participation from Multiple Regions
The mock CET attracted an impressive turnout of more than 400 students, drawing participants from a diverse range of educational institutions across Mysuru and its surrounding areas. Students traveled from locations such as Mandya, Malavalli, KR Nagar, Nanjangud, HD Kote, Hunsur, Tumakuru, and Tiptur, highlighting the event's broad appeal and importance in the region. This widespread involvement underscores the growing demand for effective preparatory measures in the competitive field of engineering admissions.
Top Performers Recognized with Cash Prizes
Following the mock test, VVIET announced the results and awarded cash prizes to the highest achievers, adding an element of motivation and recognition. Raghunandan from Sadvidya College emerged as the top performer, securing the first prize of Rs 15,000. Alok GA of Trinity College claimed the second position, winning Rs 10,000, while Manan TN from Navkis PU College earned the third prize of Rs 5,000. Additionally, consolation prizes were awarded to Nethrashree S, Advaith KV, and Isha Mariyaam, acknowledging their commendable efforts in the competitive setting.
