Authorities at one examination center became suspicious when they noticed a group of students who failed to enter the exam hall by the scheduled 2 PM start time. Upon closer inspection, exam officials checked the students' mobile phones and allegedly discovered soft copies of the direct taxation question paper circulating through WhatsApp messages. The center officials promptly reported the incident to BAMU university authorities, who dispatched special squads to the location to investigate further.

According to examination center authorities, rumors about question paper leaks through WhatsApp had been circulating since the examination period began on April 8. "We had been hearing talks of the question paper leak through WhatsApp ever since the exam began. As per these discussions, the question paper was reportedly made available to students approximately one hour before the official examination start time," revealed exam center officials who wished to remain anonymous.
University Launches Formal Investigation
B N Dole, the director of BAMU's examination and evaluation board, confirmed that mobile phones from nine students were confiscated during the incident. "We have ordered a comprehensive inquiry into this matter. The investigation will determine conclusively whether there was an actual question paper leak or if this was an isolated incident," stated Dole. The university has initiated internal proceedings while considering further disciplinary actions against those involved.
