The Himachal Pradesh government has launched a significant overseas employment initiative, offering 300 new job positions for delivery riders in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity comes as a welcome development for the state's youth seeking international career prospects.

Recruitment Drive Details and Eligibility

The Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) is conducting this special recruitment drive in partnership with Noon Food LLC in the UAE. Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria: they should be at least 10th pass, aged between 20 and 37 years, possess basic English communication skills, and hold a valid driving licence for gear motorcycles. Additional medical requirements include no facial or neck deformities and no colour blindness. Candidates without a valid passport will not be considered for these positions.

Salary Package and Financial Considerations

The employment package offers substantial financial benefits. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of 2500 Dirhams, supplemented by commission and tips, which could bring their total earnings between ₹70,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month.

However, candidates should be aware of certain financial commitments. After deployment, a UAE driving licence will be provided for a fee of 5,500 Dirhams. Additionally, selected individuals must pay ₹35,400 as approved by the Ministry of External Affairs, along with a medical fee of ₹1,500.

Recruitment Process and Important Dates

The recruitment process involves collaboration between HPSEDC, the Department of Labour & Employment, and a recruitment agency registered with the Ministry of External Affairs. A one-week recruitment drive is scheduled across various districts of Himachal Pradesh during the first week of December 2025.
