How to Check Your AIIMS INI SS Seat Allotment Result

Candidates who participated in the counselling process can access their results exclusively on the official portal. The steps to download the allotment letter are straightforward. First, visit the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in. On the homepage, locate and click on the link for INI SS counselling. You will then need to log in to your "My Page" section using the registered ID and password created during the application process. Once logged in, the round 1 seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download the document and save a copy for all future reference and admission procedures.

Next Steps After Receiving the Allotment

Securing a seat is just the first step. Successful candidates must act promptly to confirm their admission. As per the official schedule, the reporting window for round 1 is from December 30 at 11:00 AM to January 6 until 6:00 PM. During this period, candidates must physically report to the allotted institute. The confirmation process involves submitting all required original documents for verification and paying the necessary security deposit.

Upon logging into the portal to view their result, candidates will be presented with two critical choices. They must select either Option 1: "Accept the allotted seat and do not participate in further counselling rounds" or Option 2: "Accept the seat and choose to participate in further rounds of counselling." This decision is crucial and will determine their eligibility for subsequent counselling rounds.

Understanding the INI SS Counselling Process

The AIIMS INI SS counselling is a centralized process for admission to highly sought-after Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programmes. The seats are distributed among the country's top medical institutes of national importance. These include the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) in Trivandrum, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru, and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry.

The seat allotment is strictly merit-based, considering candidates who completed their registration within the stipulated deadline. The merit list contains comprehensive details like roll number, overall rank, INI SS entrance exam score, chosen subject, category, and the name of the allotted institute. Any seat that remains vacant after this round in the General, Sponsored, or Foreign National categories will be carried forward to the next round of counselling.

The INI SS 2026 entrance examination was conducted on November 22, and a total of 3,304 candidates qualified to participate in this counselling process. For those who do not get a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade, the round 2 seat allotment result is scheduled for announcement on January 20, with reporting to colleges from January 21 to January 28. All aspirants are strongly recommended to monitor the official AIIMS exams website regularly for any new updates or changes to the schedule.
