Conversely, undergraduate and postgraduate students from Andhra University will gain valuable practical experience through internship opportunities at the National Institute for Geo-information and Technology, providing them with real-world exposure to cutting-edge geospatial technologies.
Joint Academic Initiatives and Skill Development
The collaboration extends beyond individual educational opportunities to include joint academic initiatives. Both institutions have committed to organizing conferences, workshops, and skill development programmes together, creating platforms for knowledge exchange and professional growth.
Prof. Rajashekar emphasized that AU researchers would benefit significantly from expert guidance provided by Survey of India officials. He also expressed the university's readiness to host national and international events in partnership with the organization, further enhancing the visibility and impact of this collaboration.
The partnership represents a major step forward in bridging the gap between academic research and practical application in the field of geospatial technologies, creating a symbiotic relationship that benefits both educational institutions and government organizations.
