The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) transformed into a hub of inspiring ideas this past Sunday. The prestigious B-school successfully hosted a TEDx event at its campus auditorium, drawing a vibrant crowd of students, faculty, and guests. The gathering was built around the compelling theme of "Refracted Realities," aiming to present multifaceted views on life, success, and philosophy.
A Stellar Line-Up of Speakers
The event's strength lay in its carefully curated roster of speakers, each a luminary in their respective field. The audience gained wisdom from Nikita Tyagi, widely recognized as Spiritual Nikita, who is renowned for interpreting ancient Indian philosophical concepts for the modern world. Sharing the stage was Ranjit Bajaj, a three-time world record holder and the founder of Minerva Academy, which is celebrated as India's premier football nursery.
The inspiration continued with stories of grit and adventure. Captain Dharmveer Singh, a veteran army officer, FIT India ambassador, elite athlete, and entrepreneur, shared his experiences. He was joined by Prakriti Varshney, an accomplished mountaineer who holds records, a certified scuba diver, and a paraglider.

The TEDxIIMV event also bridged the gap between introspection and industry. Representing the corporate sector was Ashish Modi, President of Honeywell India and a member of the AMCHAM India National Executive Board. Professor M Chandrasekhar, the Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, expressed his delight at the event's success. He highlighted that TEDxIIMV witnessed active participation from all quarters.
