According to a report by Mid-day, Akshay Kumar is set to begin shooting a spectacular Holi song for the untitled Anees Bazmee film in the last week of March. The track will be choreographed by the renowned Ganesh Acharya, with Vidya Balan joining Akshay for this celebratory sequence.
The production promises to be a full-blown Holi extravaganza, featuring an abundance of colour, energetic dancers, and festive energy. The plan includes approximately 300 to 400 background dancers on set, as Akshay and Vidya's characters lead the vibrant celebrations in a traditional gully setting.
The elaborate mohalla-style set will include balconies and terraces from where revellers will join the festivities, creating an immersive atmosphere. Choreographer Ganesh Acharya has also designed a special hook step that he hopes will become popular among audiences.
