The grand opening ceremony took place on Thursday evening, attended by his family members, marking a significant addition to the city's entertainment landscape. 'Wall of Greats' Draws Attention and Controversy
One particular feature of the theatre quickly captured public interest: a long hallway dubbed the 'Wall of Greats'. This dedicated space displays photographs of renowned film directors from across India and internationally. Notable directors featured on the wall include S. S. Rajamouli, Sukumar, Trivikram Srinivas, Mani Ratnam, Vetrimaaran, Atlee, Rishab Shetty, Prashanth Neel, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga, alongside several foreign directors.
However, after the video was released, social media users began questioning the selection, pointing out that several legendary directors were conspicuously absent. One user commented, 'Atlee is there but Shankar isn't. Please explain this BS. In Kannada, Upendra isn't there but Neel and Rishabh are there. Moreover in Telugu, couldn't spot K Vishwanath but Sandeep Vanga is there.' Another added, 'Instead of kids like Atlee, Shetty, Neel, SRV. Should be Vinayak, Puri, Vaitla.' Further criticisms included mentions of missing directors such as KV Reddy, Vittalacharya, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Bapu, Raghavendra Rao, Jhandhyala, Dasari Narayan Rao, Puri Jagannadh, and Ram Gopal Varma.
In response, some fans attempted to clarify the concept behind the wall. One person explained, 'The WALL OF GREATS means people worked with Allu Arjun and the people Allu Arjun wanted to work with.'
