Arijit Singh's Heartfelt Message to Listeners After Playback Singing Retirement

Following his earlier announcement of retirement from playback singing this year, renowned vocalist Arijit Singh has once again connected with his audience through a deeply personal and emotional communication. While he has ceased accepting new professional assignments, the singer has clarified that numerous unfinished recordings are scheduled for release in the coming months.

"This Message Is Just for My Listeners"

Utilizing the social media platform X, Arijit disseminated a sincere note specifically directed toward his fanbase. "This message is just for my listeners. Please don't read and swipe right now if you are not my listener, it's a humble request. Hello beautiful people! I just want to tell you all that I love you. Thank you so much for your kindness in this ruthless world," he expressed in his post.

Reassuring supporters that his vocal presence will persist despite his career decision, he elaborated, "Although I have stopped taking new assignments, the list of pending songs are not less you know. I will have to complete a lot of songs. Dont involve into explaining people, How many times will you? there are so many unfinished songs, they are gonna keep releasing until done. Maybe through this whole year. Maybe it will touch next year too."

He concluded the communication with a spiritual invocation: "Be peaceful. Try to get out of this platform. Remove spike proteins from your body, leave 5g, read, love, meditate. Jay Devi!"

Industry Reaction and Aamir Khan's Personal Visit

Last month, the cinematic community was astonished when Arijit declared his departure from playback singing. This resolution signified the conclusion of what he characterized as a "wonderful" professional voyage.

Subsequent to the announcement, reports emerged indicating that Bollywood icon Aamir Khan journeyed to Arijit's native town, Murshidabad, for a personal meeting. Recently, a behind-the-scenes video from the production of the title track for Junaid Khan's film Ek Din was unveiled.

The footage provided insights into Aamir interacting with Arijit and his family—engaging in shared meals, kite flying, and collaborative song recording. These authentic moments exhibited warmth, mutual respect, and genuine affection.

During the encounter, Aamir made an emotional plea to the singer. "For sometime you want to take a break or you don't want to sing for Hindi films? Aise mat kar yaar, hum logon ka kya hoga bhai?" he articulated in the video, encouraging him to reevaluate his decision.

Reflections on a "Wonderful Journey"

In January, Arijit had notified followers via Instagram that he would no longer undertake new playback projects. "Hello, Happy New Year to all. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not going to be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey," he had written.

The entertainment sector continues to process this significant development, as one of its most celebrated voices transitions away from mainstream playback singing while ensuring his artistic legacy endures through forthcoming releases.
