He noted that despite the film's departure from traditional family-centric themes, he thoroughly enjoyed every moment. "As a filmmaker, whatever's good is good. I think Dhurandhar is a perfect picture after Sholay. Every character is so well done. Hats off to Aditya," Barjatya remarked.
Additionally, he shared his fondness for the song 'Saiyaara' and voiced his delight for producers Aditya Chopra and Mohit Suri during the film's launch. Barjatya emphasized the importance of such content in today's cinematic landscape, stating, "All subjects should get made but this type of content is very important, so that we can tell the younger generation to trust, hope, and support each other, otherwise we're all getting divided. Why should there be any loneliness?"
