Beatles Museum Opening in London at 3 Savile Row by 2027

Fans of The Beatles will soon have a dedicated museum to explore in London, located at the very site where the band performed their final live show. According to recent reports, a new fan experience is set to open in the same space where the iconic group held their last-ever gig. Here is everything known about the upcoming museum so far.

The Beatles Museum in London: A Historic Location

The BBC has reported that the venue where The Beatles played one of their last shows in London will be transformed into a seven-floor museum. This space will soon welcome the public, offering access to exhibitions, trinkets, memorabilia, and archival collections that have never been displayed before.

Paul McCartney, the band's bassist and keyboardist, discussed the decision to create this experience for fans. He shared, “Tourists come to England and they can go to Abbey Road, but they can't go inside [and] it snares up the traffic, and the drivers get really annoyed. So I thought this was a terrific idea.”

The museum is situated in a Grade II listed mansion at 3 Savile Row. This historic building is where the group recorded their final album, Let It Be, together in the basement. It is also the same location where they held their last live performance, making the site especially significant for the museum.

What Will The Beatles Museum Include?

While few details have been revealed, McCartney provided an overview of what visitors can expect when the museum opens next year. The space will recreate the basement where their last album was recorded, and fans will also be able to experience their final concert on the rooftop where it originally took place.

He added, “Well, you go in on the ground floor, and there's memorabilia and stuff like that. Then you work your way up through the building, and [see] various things that happened here and there, until you get to the top, where you go out on the roof and pretend to be a Beatle.”

The venue will also include a retail store where fans can purchase souvenirs related to the band.

Opening Date and Ticket Information

The museum will be officially named ‘The Beatles at 3 Savile Row’. Although a specific opening date has not been announced, fans can already register for tickets. The museum is expected to open to the public sometime in 2027, and tickets are currently available for purchase on the band’s official website.
