A 45-year-old realtor in Bengaluru has lodged a police complaint accusing his live-in partner of blackmailing him after she failed to fulfill her promise of marriage. The complainant, identified as Raviraj A S, told the authorities that he first connected with the woman, named Soumya S, through Facebook approximately seven to eight years ago.

According to Raviraj, the two became close after Soumya informed him that her divorce proceedings were underway. She reportedly assured him that she would marry him once the divorce was finalized. Trusting her words, Raviraj entered into a live-in relationship with her.
Alleged Blackmail and Threats
However, after the divorce was completed, Soumya allegedly refused to marry Raviraj. Instead, she began demanding money from him, threatening to file false cases against him if he did not comply. Feeling trapped and fearing legal repercussions, Raviraj decided to approach the police.
