Celina Jaitly's Emotional Revelation Amid Divorce Proceedings

Bollywood actress and model Celina Jaitly has broken her silence about her ongoing divorce from husband Peter Haag in a deeply emotional social media post. The former beauty queen, who describes herself as a soldier's daughter, has vowed to continue fighting despite what she calls the strongest, most turbulent storm of her life.

The actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on November 27, 2025 to share her feelings about the difficult period she's been experiencing. Her message comes shortly after she filed legal proceedings against her Austrian hotelier husband, accusing him of multiple forms of abuse.

The Heartbreaking Social Media Post

In her lengthy and poignant message, Jaitly expressed how she never imagined facing such challenges alone. I never thought there would come a day without all the pillars on which the roof of my world once rested: my parents, my brother, my children & the one who promised to stand by me, love me, care for me & bear every trouble with me, she wrote.

The actress revealed that people she trusted have walked away from her life, but emphasized that these setbacks won't break her spirit. She described how the storm of her life circumstances has actually strengthened her resolve, stating: But the storm did not drown me. It delivered me. It tossed me out of violent waters onto warm sands. It forced me to meet the woman inside me who refuses to die.

Legal Battle and Domestic Violence Allegations

Earlier this week, Celina approached a court in Mumbai with serious allegations against her husband. She filed an application under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, accusing Haag of severe emotional, physical, verbal and financial abuse.

One of the most shocking revelations from her legal filing claims that she was forced to flee their home in Austria in the middle of the night on October 11, returning to India without her three children. This difficult decision highlights the severity of the situation she found herself in.

The actress concluded her social media post by acknowledging that her legal matter is subjudice and directed media inquiries to her legal representatives. She has enlisted the help of a law firm to handle her case, though she didn't disclose specific details due to the ongoing nature of the proceedings.

A Year of Personal Struggles

This divorce represents just one of several personal challenges Jaitly has faced recently. The actress has been dealing with the disappearance of her brother, who was reportedly abducted and jailed in the Middle East last year. These consecutive personal crises have tested the actress's resilience in unprecedented ways.

Despite these overwhelming circumstances, Jaitly remains determined to fight for what matters most to her. She declared: I have been taught to get up when the world wants me to fall, to fight when my heart is breaking, to show no mercy when I have been wronged, and to survive even when it feels impossible.

The actress identified her three main priorities as: fighting for her soldier brother, fighting for her children's love, and fighting for her dignity. Her message has resonated with fans and followers, who have flooded her social media with messages of support and encouragement during this challenging chapter of her life.
