Dharmendra Health Update: Stable in Hospital

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, aged 89, remains under medical observation at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, with his family confirming his stable condition and requesting privacy during this time.

Official Health Status and Family Statement

Contrary to circulating rumors about the actor's critical condition, Sunny Deol's team released an official statement clarifying the actual situation. The statement confirmed that Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation, while firmly requesting the public not to spread unverified information about his health.

The official communication read: "Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don't indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy."

Bollywood Shows Support with Hospital Visits

The entertainment industry demonstrated solidarity with the beloved actor through numerous hospital visits on Monday evening. Superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were among the first to arrive at Breach Candy Hospital to check on Dharmendra's condition.

Later in the night, the hospital saw visits from Govinda and Ameesha Patel. Govinda arrived driving his own car, accompanied by team members, while Ameesha Patel, who co-starred with Sunny Deol in both Gadar films, visited the Deol family but refrained from commenting on the actor's health status.

Family and Industry Reactions

Hema Malini took to social media to address public concern, expressing gratitude for the well-wishes while dismissing alarming rumors. She wrote: "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery."

Adding to the chorus of support, comedian Bharti Singh, who is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital, shared optimistic words with paparazzi: "Arey bhagwaan aur hamare dua unke saath hai, kuch nahi hone wala. Bas aap prayer kijiye voh jald hi theek ho jaaye" (God and our prayers are with him. Nothing is going to happen. You just wish for his speedy recovery).

The veteran actor, who continues to be active in films, is scheduled to appear next in Sriram Raghavan's "Ikkis," alongside Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat in significant roles.
