Bollywood Legend Dharmendra's Final Film Poster Released Before His Passing

The Indian film industry was struck by profound sadness with the passing of Bollywood's beloved 'He-Man' Dharmendra, but his cinematic magic continues to shine through his final project, 'Ikkis'. In a poignant turn of events, the film's creators unveiled a powerful poster featuring the superstar just hours before news of his demise spread across the nation.

The newly revealed artwork places Dharmendra at the very heart of the narrative, serving as a beautiful reminder of the incredible energy, undeniable charm, and genuine warmth that defined his remarkable career spanning decades.

Extraordinary Fan Devotion During Ikkis Shoot

Line-producer Aroon Singh Dicky, who managed the Lucknow shooting schedule, shared unforgettable memories of the unprecedented fan frenzy that surrounded Dharmendra during filming. The veteran actor's presence transformed ordinary shooting days into extraordinary celebrations of his legendary stardom.

Dharmendra portrayed Brigadier ML Khetrapal, father of protagonist PVC Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal (played by Agastya Nanda), with extensive filming occurring in Qaiserbagh and Lalbagh areas. The outdoor schedule created massive traffic disruptions as thousands of admirers flocked to catch even the briefest glimpse of their favorite star.

"I have dedicated over twenty years to line production, yet I've never witnessed such intense fan devotion in my entire career," Aroon Singh confessed to Hindustan Times. "People, including elderly women, were kissing the chair he sat on and collecting mud from his footprints to apply on their foreheads as blessings".

He further elaborated that while Sanjay Dutt previously held the title of biggest crowd-puller in his experience, Dharmendra's appeal reached entirely different dimensions, with fans becoming absolutely ecstatic just to catch a momentary sight of him.

Dharmendra's Humble Nature Touched Everyone

Beyond his star power, what truly impressed everyone on set was Dharmendra's remarkable humility and down-to-earth personality. Aroon recalled how the legendary actor would willingly engage in conversations with anyone and acknowledged his fans with an open, generous heart.

For the line-producer, collaborating with Dharmendra transcended professional boundaries—it represented a dream fulfillment. "He blesses you so abundantly that you feel genuinely overwhelmed," Aroon emotionally shared, adding that the industry will never again witness such a loving and affectionate superstar.
