About Dishani's Family
Dishani is the adopted daughter of Mithun Chakraborty and his wife, actress Yogeeta Bali, who married in 1979. Prior to Yogeeta, Mithun was married to actress Helena Luke, also in 1979, but that marriage lasted only four months and ended in divorce. Mithun and Yogeeta have three sons—Mimoh, Ushmey, and Namashi—and an adopted daughter, Dishani.
Mithun's Illustrious Career
Mithun made his acting debut in the 1976 art house drama Mrigayaa, directed by Mrinal Sen, which earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor.
