Explaining the situation, James Vasanthan said that he had parked his car in what appeared to be an empty space, as reported by The Hindu. The area was covered with blue metal sheets, which made it look like a vacant plot or a construction site. Since it was a hot Sunday afternoon and no one was around, the place seemed safe to park. Only later did he learn that a house was actually located further inside the property. This misunderstanding turned out to be one of the key reasons behind the incident.

He also said that he learned from the experience since making a mistake with minor content could result in a major issue.
