During his speech, Mammootty reflected on the nature of conflict, drawing parallels to the world of cinema. He stated, "There have been debates, arguments, and even wars in cinema as well. Sometimes some people win, and sometimes both sides lose. Even now, a war is going on outside. We don’t know who will win. I wish for humanity to win." His comments come at a critical juncture, as a joint Israel–US attack on Iran has captured international attention, with reports indicating the strike resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

On the professional front, Mammootty is actively preparing for the release of his highly anticipated film, 'Patriot'. The newly unveiled second-look poster has sparked widespread conversation across social media platforms. This project marks a significant reunion with co-star Mohanlal after more than 13 years, under the direction of Mahesh Narayanan.

Additionally, the movie heralds the grand comeback of Nayanthara in Malayalam cinema after a long hiatus. Nayanthara will also appear in the upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer 'Dear Students'.
