Famed singer Olivia Dean, whose song 'So Easy (To Fall in Love)' earned her the Best New Artist award at the 2026 Grammys, has officially embarked on a tour. The English artist recently launched her tour at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, captivating audiences with her performance.
Olivia Dean's Opening Show in Glasgow
On April 22 and 23, Dean kicked off her 'The Art of Loving' tour with a fully sold-out stadium. During the opening show, she performed a wide array of songs from her discography, starting with 'Nice To Each Other' followed by the sultry 'Lady Lady', a song about change, growth, and womanhood.
Videos from the first concert circulated online, showing the singer expressing disbelief over the turnout. She remarked, 'I can't believe how many people are here and that this is my own show.' While fans were ecstatic about the 27-year-old's performance on the big stage, some were surprised that Dean did not include her chart-topping song 'Rein Me In', a collaboration with Sam Fender that topped charts, boosted her popularity, and earned her a Brit Award for Song of the Year in February.
Olivia Dean's Emotional Speech at Her Glasgow Show
The singer grew emotional at the end of her 23-song setlist, asking fans how they were feeling in the arena. She continued, 'I am so excited and just wanna take a second, before we get started, to say thank you for being here. I played King Tut's in Glasgow two years ago in front of 300 people, and now all of you are here. It's amazing.'
