"He (Vidnyan) claims he has paid us money, but there is no evidence whether he paid by cheque or bank transfer," Mithare stated, casting doubt on the validity of the fraud allegations.
Regarding the more sensational accusation that Muchhal was caught with another woman during his wedding festivities, the lawyer challenged the basis of the claim. "What is the evidence?" he questioned, pointing out the absence of proof to support Mane's narrative. Mithare further clarified the connection between the parties, noting, "We met him through Smriti’s father (Shrinivas). We have no direct connection with him."

They started blackmailing me and threatened to throw me out of the film, thus I was forced to file a complaint," Mane claimed, highlighting the pressure tactics he says were employed.
