The actor and his lawyer made serious allegations against the complainant, Madhav Gopal Agarwal, claiming the lender's primary intention was to see Yadav incarcerated rather than recover the loan amount.

During the media interaction, Yadav's lawyer clarified that the actor had borrowed Rs 5 crore from Madhav Gopal Agarwal of M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd as an investment in the film 'Ata Pata Laapata'. According to reports from Indian Express, the legal team alleged that a high rate of interest was applied to the loan, causing the total amount to escalate to approximately Rs 10.40 crore.
The actor's advocate made the startling claim that the complainant deliberately refused to accept security money and property documents offered by Rajpal Yadav in 2018. "His intention was never the money; it was to see Rajpal in jail," the lawyer stated emphatically during the press conference.
Yadav's Personal Account and Alleged Threats
Rajpal Yadav personally addressed the media, alleging that Madhav Gopal Agarwal's actions were motivated by revenge. The actor revealed disturbing details about his interactions with the lender, claiming he had been threatened with severe consequences if he failed to pay the escalated amount.
"They told me, 'If you don't send us Rs 10.40 crore, we will sell every inch of you'," Yadav quoted during the conference. The actor expressed frustration that he lacked recorded evidence of these threats but maintained his commitment to resolving the matter through proper legal channels.
Yadav emphasized that he has no intention of defrauding anyone or escaping his financial obligations through dishonest means. He presented himself as willing to settle the matter appropriately but claimed the other party was uninterested in resolution.
