On Nandamuri Balakrishna's show 'Unstoppable', Ranbir Kapoor seized the opportunity to tease her. He hinted at her "real hero", alluding to Vijay Deverakonda, while discussing films, sparking laughter and curiosity among the audience.

In a humorous clip from the show, NBK asked Rashmika Mandanna and Sandeep Reddy Vanga to choose between 'Animal' and Vijay Deverakonda's film 'Arjun Reddy'. Ranbir Kapoor joked, "Let Rashmika call, Vijay won't pick his (Sandeep's) call." When Vijay Deverakonda, known for his role in 'Kingdom', finally answered with a casual "What's up, re?", Rashmika reminded him he was on speaker, leading to more laughter.
Rashmika Mandanna, referred to as 'The Girlfriend' actor, was then asked to pick between Ranbir's 'Animal' poster and Vijay's 'Arjun Reddy' poster. She diplomatically said, "I have a connection with Arjun Reddy and Animal is my film." She also revealed that 'Arjun Reddy' was the first film she watched after moving to Hyderabad. Ranbir added that Sandeep met Rashmika during 'Arjun Reddy's' success party on Vijay's terrace, to which Rashmika laughed and replied, "It's not necessary to give all this information."

For those unaware, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna reportedly got engaged on October 3 in Hyderabad, with the ceremony attended by close friends and family. They are said to be planning a wedding on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur, which will be a private affair for family members. Additionally, a reception for the film fraternity is expected to be held later in Hyderabad.
