For his visit to the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru, Ranveer Singh wore a plain white straight-fit kurta with full sleeves and a sleek collared neckline. He completed the look with a matching pair of pants but added a hint of powerful drama with a black half-jacket with a graceful collar and sophisticated buttons to the front. With red vermilion on his forehead and messy front hair, he channelled a graceful, sophisticated, and perfect temple-visit ensemble.
A directive by the Karnataka High Court
Ranveer’s visit to the Chamundeshwari Temple was directed by the Karnataka High Court after he offered an unconditional apology in the ‘Kantara’ mimicry case. He followed a submission of his affidavit in April, where the court ordered him to offer prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple within four weeks. His visit was largely kept a secret, as the actor was seen leaving the Mumbai airport on Tuesday morning and was later spotted at the Garbhagudi area inside the temple in Mysuru for prayers.
Visiting amid the ‘Don 3’ controversy
What makes his presence and all the details more interesting is that his visit comes amid the standoff between the actor and the FWICE over the unresolved issues revolving around ‘Don 3’. The film worker’s body announced its verdict, ordering members of the Bollywood fraternity of FWICE not to work with him until the matter reaches a proper conclusion. This situation was created as the ‘Dhurandhar’ star exited from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’ allegedly unannounced, causing the filmmaker and the team a loss of Rs 45 crore.
