Rimi Sen Builds New Life as Real Estate Agent in Dubai
Rimi Sen, once a familiar face in Bollywood hits like Dhoom and Golmaal, has made a significant career shift. She is now working as a real estate agent in Dubai. Fans recently expressed surprise at her changed appearance, but Sen clarified it is due to cosmetic treatments like fillers and Botox, not plastic surgery.
From Bollywood Stardom to Dubai Business
In the early 2000s, Rimi Sen starred in popular films such as Hungama, Phir Hera Pheri, and Johnny Gaddar. She also appeared in advertisements with Aamir Khan and shared screens with Salman Khan. Her presence in the industry waned towards the end of the decade, and her last film was Shagird in 2011. Now, she has fully immersed herself in Dubai's real estate sector, leaving acting behind.
Speaking about her transition, Sen praised Dubai for its welcoming environment. She noted that the city hosts a large expatriate population and focuses on improving residents' lives. In contrast, she criticised India for frequent policy changes and a complex tax system, which she finds less business-friendly.
Real Estate Market Insights
Rimi Sen explained why the real estate market functions smoothly in Dubai. She highlighted the discipline in the system, where agents, agencies, and developers each have defined roles. Sen also pointed out that property agents in Dubai receive respect similar to financial consultants, unlike in India where brokerage fees can be viewed negatively.
Addressing Appearance Rumours
Two years ago, photos of Rimi Sen circulated on social media, sparking rumours of plastic surgery. In response, she stated she has only undergone fillers, Botox, and PRP treatments. Sen expressed openness to cosmetic procedures later in life but plans to wait until after age 50. She welcomed feedback on her appearance, asking critics to suggest corrections if needed.
This move marks a new chapter for the former actress, as she embraces her role in Dubai's dynamic real estate industry.
