Rimi Sen on John Abraham's Acting Strategy

Rimi Sen Praises John Abraham's Strategic Career Choices

Former Bollywood actress Rimi Sen, who has transitioned to a real estate career in Dubai, recently shared intriguing insights about her Dhoom co-star John Abraham during a podcast interview. She described him as an intelligent actor who strategically navigated his early career limitations.

Recognizing and Working Within Limitations

Rimi Sen emphasized that Abraham's self-awareness played a crucial role in his success. "A human being focuses on his positive point, but if someone knows their limitation, that this is my problem, and if they work on that, then that person goes a long way," she explained during her conversation with Buildcaps.

She pointed to John Abraham as a prime example of this philosophy. "In the beginning of his career, he was a model, he didn't know how to act, people used to talk. He didn't say anything," Rimi revealed, highlighting how Abraham quietly addressed his challenges.

The Action Film Strategy

According to Rimi Sen, Abraham made calculated choices about the roles he accepted. "He picked the type of roles in which he is looking proper, where he doesn't have to act much, mostly chose action films," she shared.

This strategic approach allowed him to build his career while minimizing criticism about his acting abilities. "He did things that made him look good, so that people can't question what he was doing. He was a very intelligent actor, I must say," Rimi added.

Evolution as an Actor and Businessman

Rimi noted that Abraham's approach paid off as he gradually developed his acting skills. "Then, when he gained popularity and people started recognising him, and dheere dheere karte karte insaan acting seekh hi jaata hai (you learn acting slowly)," she observed.

She further praised his career evolution, stating, "You gain the experience in front of the camera after a while. After that, he took up roles that give him a chance to act. He was strategically correct, he knew his limitations."

Rimi also acknowledged Abraham's successful transition into production and business, noting that he "became a businessman, came into production, even gave hit films that have credibility."

Rimi Sen's Career Transition

During the same podcast, Rimi Sen discussed her own career shift from Bollywood to real estate in Dubai. The actress, known for popular films like Hera Pheri, Hungama, and Golmaal, explained her decision to leave acting behind.

She praised Dubai's welcoming environment for expatriates and business opportunities, contrasting it with what she described as challenging business conditions in India due to frequent policy changes and taxation complexities.

Rimi's candid reflections provide a fascinating look at how both she and John Abraham have navigated their respective career paths with strategic thinking and adaptability.
