Salman Khan Shaves Off Moustache After 'Battle of Galwan' Shoot, Reveals New Look
Salman Khan's Clean-Shaven Look Post 'Galwan' Shoot Stuns Fans

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan unveiled a dramatic new look over the weekend, leaving fans and media in a frenzy. The actor appeared completely clean-shaven, a stark departure from the thick moustache he had sported for several months.

A Fresh Face After Intense Shoot Schedule

This style transformation came just a day after Khan completed filming for his highly anticipated war drama, 'Battle of Galwan'. He was spotted at Mumbai's Kalina airport on Saturday, where he waved to the paparazzi before proceeding through security. The actor had maintained his moustached look not only for the film but also throughout the latest season of the reality show 'Bigg Boss' and during his 'Dabangg Tour' performances.

With the 'Bigg Boss' grand finale scheduled for Sunday and his 60th birthday approaching on December 27, this refreshed appearance hints at a calmer phase for the star after a packed schedule of shooting and commitments.

Behind the Scenes of 'Battle of Galwan'

Before concluding the film's shoot, Salman Khan offered fans a gripping glimpse into his character. He shared a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram that quickly went viral. The image showed him peeking from behind a clapperboard marked "Scene 86 Close Up Shot 1 Take 1".

In the photo, he is dressed in authentic army combat fatigues, complete with insignia and older camouflage patterns. A prominent wound mark on his face powerfully hinted at the film's gritty and intense battle-heavy narrative. He simply captioned the post, "#BattleOfGalwan".

What to Expect from the Upcoming War Drama

'Battle of Galwan' is inspired by the book 'India's Most Fearless 3' and brings to life the tense and tragic 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. The violent incident involved hand-to-hand combat with improvised weapons like sticks and stones.

The film aims to recreate this high-stakes confrontation, with Salman Khan leading the narrative in what is expected to be one of his most rugged and hard-hitting roles in recent years. Fans are viewing this project as a powerful comeback for the superstar.

The ensemble cast includes Chitrangda Singh, Zeyn Shaw, Heera Sohail, Abhilash Chaudhary, Vipin Bhardwaj, and Ankur Bhatia. The film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia with music composed by Himesh Reshammiya. While reports suggest a mid-2026 theatrical release, the official date is still awaited.
