Sangeetha Sringeri Returns with New Focus on Healing and Selective Roles
Sangeetha Sringeri's Comeback: Healing, Dialect Comedy, and Growth

Sangeetha Sringeri Embraces New Career Chapter with Spiritual Growth and Selective Projects

After a period of intentional reflection away from the spotlight, popular Kannada actor Sangeetha Sringeri is making a deliberate and thoughtful return to cinema. Her comeback is characterized by a renewed sense of purpose, more discerning script choices, and a deep commitment to personal authenticity both on and off screen.

A Transformative Hiatus Focused on Inner Discovery

Sangeetha Sringeri openly shares that her decision to step back from acting was driven by a profound need for self-assessment and personal development. Following the success of reality television and several film projects, she felt compelled to pause the relentless pursuit of external validation.

"My break was primarily because I wanted to dedicate time to myself," Sringeri explains. "For many years, I worked hard to achieve the recognition and financial stability that platforms like Bigg Boss provided. Once I attained those goals, simply continuing to chase the same milestones no longer felt meaningful or fulfilling."

This period of introspection led her to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where she immersed herself in spiritual studies under the guidance of a guru. "I traveled to Kerala to learn healing techniques and spent considerable time understanding my own inner journey and personal evolution," she recounts.

Discovering a Passion for Crystal Healing

During her spiritual exploration, Sangeetha Sringeri uncovered a natural affinity for crystal healing, which has since become a significant personal passion. "As I delved into healing practices, I realized my strengths were particularly aligned with crystal healing. The understanding of crystals and their energetic properties came to me very intuitively. Perhaps this was a path I was always meant to follow," she reflects.

She has now begun dedicating more time to this practice, transforming it into a serious personal pursuit alongside her acting career.

Strategic Comeback with a Challenging Bilingual Comedy

Sangeetha Sringeri's return to the screen is marked by the bilingual film Padmanabha and Family, a project that presents multiple new challenges for the actor. The film is set in the Mangaluru region and requires her to master a specific local dialect.

"This is a Mangaluru-Kannada dialect film. The primary challenge is that I am not familiar with the dialect or Tulu language—I must perfect the accent and delivery. There is a distinct rhythm and sweetness to the way the characters speak that I need to capture authentically," Sringeri notes.

Additionally, this project represents her first foray into comedy, a genre she has never attempted before. "I have never performed comedy roles in my career. For me, the two biggest challenges in this film are mastering the comedy timing and getting the dialect absolutely right," she admits.

Intensive Preparation and Team Support

The actor describes the preparation process as rigorous and demanding. "We began rehearsals well in advance of the actual shoot, and it required a substantial amount of time and effort. I experienced moments of panic because it is genuinely not easy," Sringeri confesses.

She elaborates on the linguistic nuances: "Standard Kannada flows naturally for me, but here, I must constantly focus on language precision, vocal modulation, and strategic pauses. If you overact, it appears artificial; if you underperform, the humor fails to connect with the audience."

Sringeri credits her director and production team for providing essential support through dedicated workshops and continuous guidance, helping her find the perfect balance in her performance.

A Renewed Philosophy Towards Film Selection

This comeback is underpinned by a more selective and honest approach to choosing projects. Sangeetha Sringeri emphasizes her commitment to integrity in her professional choices.

"When I commit to a film, I want to feel genuinely happy to promote it and be associated with it. I refuse to lie or deceive my audience. I made that mistake with one or two films earlier in my career, and I deeply regret those decisions," she states firmly.
