Interestingly, Basil Joseph had earlier appeared in a cameo role in Sivakarthikeyan's recent film Parasakthi. During the Kerala promotions of that film, Sivakarthikeyan openly praised Basil and described him as an actor he genuinely admires and likes personally as well.
