Sunita Ahuja Breaks Her Silence on Govinda's Alleged Affair

Last year, whispers about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's potential divorce spread widely. The couple quickly denied these rumors. They made a joint appearance during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. They even invited the media to join them. The pair have been married for thirty-eight years.

However, the year 2025 proved challenging for the Ahuja family. Reports emerged suggesting Govinda was involved with another woman. This alleged affair fueled the divorce speculation once again.

Sunita's Candid Interview on Trust and Infidelity

In a recent, revealing interview, Sunita Ahuja addressed the news of her husband's supposed affair. She spoke with Miss Malini. Sunita emphasized the critical role of trust in a marriage.

"It is important to have faith in your spouse," Sunita stated. "Once you lose that trust, the marriage doesn’t last. These days, divorce and infidelity have become very common. It is not good according to me."

She reacted strongly to the specific rumors about Govinda. "If I will get a confirmation, I will never forgive Govinda," she declared.

Sunita described 2025 as a personal disaster. "My family life was disrupted. I was hearing things about Govinda. I was not happy with the things I was hearing about him," she shared. She expressed particular distress about the timing, given their age and family stage.

"There is an age to do certain things," Sunita explained. "At 63, to hear these things, it is not good, especially when your kids are grown up."

Looking ahead to 2026, she expressed a hope for wisdom. "I just hope bhagwan Govinda ko sadbuddhi de," she said. "He must understand that family is family, and when you are in trouble, nobody stands beside you. They are only there for money. Once you stop giving the money, they will go."

Hinting at a Name and Alleging Blackmail

During the conversation, Sunita Ahuja pointedly hinted at the name of the woman linked to the rumors. She turned to the interviewer and asked, "Is your name, Komal?"

She then commented, "Yeh naam thoda gadbad hai (This name is problematic)." Sunita laughed before adding, "I hate the name Komal. Change this name. There is a girl named Komal, some xyz. I hate her."

Sunita alleged that many young women come to Mumbai with dreams of stardom. She claimed they sometimes seek wealthy benefactors.

"These days girls come and struggle in the film industry," she said. "They need a sugar daddy to take care of their expenses. Shakal do kodi ka hai, par heroine banna hai (Their appearance is worthless, but they want to become a heroine). They then blackmail people."

She expressed frustration that Govinda, at his age, would entertain such situations. "These type of girls come a lot in film industry, but then you are not a naive person, you are 63 years old," Sunita reasoned. "You have a good family, you have a beautiful wife and two big kids. You can’t do this at the age of 63."

She contrasted this with youthful mistakes, which she implied were more understandable. "You did this when you were young, then it is fine. We also did mistakes when we were young, but not at this age."

Sunita urged her husband to focus on their children's futures. "You have to get Tina married, Yash’s whole career is in front of him. He should focus on this," she stated.

Pointing Fingers at Family and Hangers-On

Sunita Ahuja did not place blame solely on external parties. She also accused Govinda's extended family and certain associates of enabling bad behavior.

"I am again telling you all things are done by the family," she alleged. "And also these people who wants Rs 50K, Rs 1 lakh, who keep roaming around him, he only listens to them and works according to them, which is not good."

She concluded her strong remarks with a firm warning for Govinda. Sunita repeated, "If I will get a confirmation, I will never forgive Govinda."
