The long search for the leading lady in the upcoming action thriller Force 3 has finally concluded. In an exclusive development, it has been confirmed that actress Vedika Pinto has officially joined the cast of the film as the female lead. She will be paired opposite the franchise's mainstay, John Abraham.
Vedika Pinto's Bollywood Journey and Role
Vedika Pinto, who made her acting debut with the film Operation Romeo and was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap's project Nishaanchi, has now landed a significant role in a major franchise. A source close to the production revealed, "Her character is paired opposite John Abraham in the movie." While attempts were made to contact the actress for a comment, no response was received at the time of reporting.
The Force Franchise and New Direction
Force 3 marks the third chapter in the high-octane Force franchise, which was originally launched in 2011. The first film, directed by Nishikant Kamat and starring John Abraham as ACP Yashvardhan Singh, emerged as a sleeper hit. For this new instalment, John Abraham has taken a more hands-on approach by reacquiring the franchise rights and appointing Bhav Dhulia as the director.
The casting process saw its share of twists. Initially, the makers were in talks with actress Meenakshi Choudhary for the lead role. However, she ultimately opted for a project featuring Akshay Kumar, paving the way for Vedika Pinto's entry.
Harshvardhan Rane's Exciting Addition
Another pivotal casting announcement for Force 3 is the inclusion of actor Harshvardhan Rane. Interestingly, the offer came swiftly from John Abraham's team following the strong positive response to Rane's latest performance in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The actor, known for his work in Sanam Teri Kasam, Haseen Dillruba, and Taish, expressed his gratitude on social media.
Sharing an announcement on his Instagram, Rane wrote, "John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking FORCE franchise forward, under him." He further added, "all i can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John Sir, while i look upwards and thank who ever is doing this from up there, cant wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till i begin the shoot.)"
With the principal cast now in place, the stage is set for Force 3 to commence its production journey. Fans of the gritty action series can expect filming to begin as scheduled in March 2026, promising another dose of adrenaline-pumping drama from the revived franchise.
