Long before he became a household name, he worked behind the scenes as a dubbing artist. Reports from The Hindu confirm that in his early career, he lent his voice to a young Mammootty in some of the actor's initial films, including Mela. He also provided dubbing for Tamil actor Thyagarajan in the film Oru Muthassi Katha.
Believing in formal training, Sreenivasan honed his craft at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu (FTIT) in Chennai. His time as a student placed him in the same circles as future superstars, including the legendary Rajinikanth.
