During a recent visit to Chandigarh for a college festival, Zoya, who began her acting journey as a child artist at the tender age of three in the film Hum Saath Saath Hain, opened up about her evolving career. "In fact, I'm currently working on another thriller titled Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai, though it incorporates romantic elements. It's amusing—I genuinely feel like thrillers are selecting me!"
She expressed excitement about the ongoing conversations surrounding Taskaree while already progressing to her next project. "Honestly, even though these films all belong to the same genre, each one has been distinctly unique. Taskaree delves into the world of customs officers and smuggling, portraying these officers as unsung heroes safeguarding our borders. In Matsya Kaand, I portrayed a con artist and magician, while Mukhbir was a period espionage drama focused on spies."

Zoya highlighted the appeal of her role in Taskaree, particularly the character Priya. "When I read the script, I immediately recognized its intrigue, especially through the female lead, Priya. She is multifaceted—vulnerable yet resilient and tactical. I believe women, in particular, connected with this complexity. She also shared her experience working with director Neeraj Pandey. "Collaborating with Neeraj sir was incredibly intense. He favors long, often single-take shots, which demands thorough preparation and spontaneity. It truly keeps you on your toes."

It lacks the heartfelt connection that humans bring, which is the essence of cinema. The future might hold changes, but for now, I remain optimistic."
