Ranveer Singh's cinematic juggernaut, Dhurandhar, shows no signs of slowing down as it powers through its fourth week in theatres. Benefiting immensely from the festive holiday season, the film witnessed a significant surge in audience footfall just ahead of the New Year celebrations, solidifying its position as a monumental box office success.
Day 23 Collections: A Robust Holiday Surge
According to data from the industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected an impressive ₹20.50 crore net on its 23rd day in Indian theatres. This represents a substantial growth of approximately 36.67% compared to its Day 22 earnings of ₹15 crore. This stellar performance has propelled the film's total domestic net collection to a staggering ₹668 crore.
With this latest haul, Dhurandhar has achieved a major milestone by surpassing the lifetime India net collection of the epic Kalki 2898 AD, which stood at ₹646.31 crore. The film is now firmly on track to challenge and potentially overtake the domestic net lifetime earnings of SS Rajamouli's RRR (₹782.2 crore net) in the coming days.
A Blockbuster Journey: Week-by-Week Performance
Dhurandhar's box office run has been a masterclass in sustained popularity. The film, which opened on 5 December 2025 with ₹28 crore, saw its collections grow over the opening weekend, peaking at ₹43 crore on its first Sunday (Day 3). After a predictable Monday dip, it stabilised to end its first week at ₹207.25 crore net.
The second week brought an upward trend, fueled by phenomenal Saturday and Sunday numbers of ₹53 crore and ₹58 crore respectively, leading to a second-week total of ₹253.25 crore net. The momentum continued into Week 3, with strong weekend performances helping it add another ₹172 crore to its kitty. The film's ability to bounce back, as seen from Day 22's ₹15 crore to Day 23's ₹20.50 crore, underscores its enduring appeal.
Nationwide Reach and Occupancy Trends
The film's success is truly pan-India. On Day 23, Dhurandhar recorded an overall occupancy of 38.48%. The day began with a 20.54% occupancy for morning shows, which saw a healthy jump to 45.76% in the afternoon and 45.34% in the evening. Night shows maintained strong traction at 42.27%.
In terms of screenings, the Delhi NCR region leads with 1,069 shows, followed by Mumbai with 831 shows. Other major contributors include Ahmedabad (450 shows), Pune (422 shows), Bengaluru (307 shows), Surat (304 shows), and Lucknow (195 shows). This wide distribution across metros and tier-2 cities confirms the film's massive nationwide demand.
As Dhurandhar charges towards the coveted ₹700 crore milestone in India, its historic run continues to rewrite box office records. With the New Year weekend providing another boost, the Ranveer Singh-starrer is set to remain a dominant force in theatres for the foreseeable future.
