Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh's Film Sees Sharp 57% Drop on Day 18
Dhurandhar Box Office Drops 57% on 3rd Monday

The blockbuster juggernaut 'Dhurandhar', directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has finally hit its first significant speed bump at the domestic box office. On its third Monday, the film witnessed a steep decline in collections, dipping below the Rs 20 crore mark for the first time since its explosive release.

A Major Weekday Dip After a Strong Weekend

According to early data from industry tracker sacnilk, the spy action thriller earned an estimated Rs 16.5 crore net on its eighteenth day. This represents a sharp 57.14% drop from its Sunday collections and is now the film's lowest single-day haul to date. The dip follows an impressive third weekend where the film amassed around Rs 95.25 crore, showing clear signs of a weekday slowdown.

The film's third week began with an estimated Rs 22.5 crore on Friday. However, audience turnout surged over the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday bringing in approximately Rs 34.25 crore and Rs 38.5 crore respectively. On Monday, the overall Hindi occupancy stood at 28.76%, with evening and night shows attracting the highest number of viewers.

Domestic Dominance and Historic Worldwide Run

Despite the Monday slump, 'Dhurandhar' continues its historic golden run. Its all-India net collection now stands at a staggering Rs 572.25 crore. This monumental figure has officially made it the highest-earning film in lead actor Ranveer Singh's career. The film's India gross collections have surged to approximately Rs 686.25 crore.

The film's success is not confined to Indian shores. Its worldwide gross has rocketed past Rs 872.25 crore, cementing its position at the pinnacle of the 2025 box office charts. In a historic feat, 'Dhurandhar' has surpassed Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara Chapter 1', which earned Rs 852 crore gross worldwide, to become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 globally.

Breaking Overseas Records

Director Aditya Dhar's film has shattered a major international record as well. It is now the highest-grossing Indian film of the year in overseas markets. Through its seventeenth day (third Sunday), the film has collected approximately Rs 186 crore from international territories.

This overseas total has already overtaken the entire international run of superstar Rajinikanth's 'Coolie', which collected Rs 180.50 crore. 'Dhurandhar', which opened to steady numbers, transformed into a box office behemoth driven by potent word-of-mouth and massive audience turnout. The film is now swiftly heading towards the coveted Rs 200 crore overseas milestone, which will also mark Ranveer Singh's first international grosser to cross that threshold.

The journey of 'Dhurandhar' exemplifies how strong content and positive audience reception can propel a film to record-breaking heights, even amidst expected weekday dips in its later run.
