Dhurandhar's Box Office Run Continues Strong Into Seventh Week
Dhurandhar Box Office Holds Steady in Week 7

Dhurandhar keeps drawing audiences to theaters well into its seventh week. The 2025 Hindi spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh shows remarkable staying power at the box office.

Steady Collections on Day 44

Early trade estimates reveal Dhurandhar collected approximately ₹1.98 crore on Saturday, marking its 44th day in theaters. This brings the film's total domestic earnings to around ₹820.33 crore since its initial release.

Trade tracker Sacnilk provided these preliminary figures during Saturday afternoon. The numbers demonstrate continued audience interest more than six weeks after the film's wide opening.

Occupancy Levels Show Modest Interest

Industry monitors reported theater occupancy across India on Day 44. Morning shows attracted about 11.71 percent of available seats. Afternoon screenings saw higher attendance at around 24.84 percent. Evening shows maintained similar interest with 23.77 percent occupancy.

Night screenings registered no measurable attendance, reflecting typical patterns for films in extended theatrical runs. While audience numbers have softened from earlier weeks, the film still brings people to cinemas.

Weekly Performance Trends

The film's sixth week contributed approximately ₹26.35 crore to domestic box office totals. This represents nearly half the business of the previous week, showing expected decline as the theatrical run extends.

On Day 43, which was Friday, Dhurandhar earned about ₹1.75 crore. This reflects the gradual drop in audience turnout common for films maintaining long cinema engagements.

Record-Breaking Achievements

Dhurandhar has achieved extraordinary box office milestones during its run. Early in its release, the film joined the exclusive "₹1,000 crore club" worldwide. Trade reports confirm it reached this rare commercial achievement within just three weeks of release.

By early January 2026, Dhurandhar became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time in domestic net collections. It overtook notable predecessors including the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film's India net collections reportedly surpassed ₹831 crore, placing it at the top of Hindi box office rankings.

Global Performance

The film's sustained performance has made it one of 2025's top grossers worldwide. Multiple industry trackers report cumulative receipts exceeding ₹1,200 crore by early January. This positions Dhurandhar among the highest-grossing Indian films across all languages in recent years.

About the Film

Dhurandhar is a politically charged spy action thriller directed, co-produced and written by Aditya Dhar. The film explores covert anti-terror operations through the story of an undercover Indian intelligence operative. He infiltrates organized crime and terror networks in Karachi, Pakistan.

The narrative intersects with real-life geopolitical events including the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, and the 2008 Mumbai attacks. It also references Operation Lyari.

Jio Studios and B62 Studios produced the film with Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar serving as producers. The ensemble cast features established stars alongside Ranveer Singh, including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan.

Shashwat Sachdev composed the music while Vikash Nowlakha handled cinematography. Shivkumar V. Panicker served as editor for the production.

With a runtime exceeding three and a half hours, Dhurandhar stands among the longest mainstream Indian films ever released. This extended duration has sparked discussions about audience engagement and cinematic pacing throughout its theatrical run.
