Day-Wise Box Office Performance

Storyline of the Mammootty Starrer

Patriot is a spy thriller centered on covert operatives who uncover a large-scale surveillance conspiracy. The film marks a major reunion of Mammootty and Mohanlal after a long gap.

The film has received mixed reactions from both critics and audiences. Fahadh Faasil's portrayal has become a major talking point on social media, with viewers expressing contrasting opinions about his character interpretation.

Responding to the criticism, director Mahesh Narayanan addressed the performance in an interview with Movie World Media: “Fahadh has performed the character in his own complete way. The character is portrayed as someone with a troubled childhood. Fahadh is not a typical villain. There is a reason why he turns into one. You cannot set a fixed scale to measure a performance. Fahadh has performed very honestly. If people feel there is something wrong with that performance, then it could be my fault.”
