Two of Malayalam cinema's biggest legends, Mohanlal and Mammootty, have reunited in the spy action thriller 'Patriot,' directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Owing to its immense hype, 'Patriot' collected over Rs 10 crore on its opening day, as reported by Sacnilk. The momentum continued into the weekend, with the film earning Rs 6.15 crore on the second day and Rs 5.50 crore on Saturday. However, as the film moved into the weekdays, the numbers gradually declined. On Monday, it collected Rs 1.70 crore, followed by Rs 1.50 crore on Tuesday, Rs 1.20 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 93 lakh on Thursday. The first week's total collection came to Rs 26.98 crore.

In its second week, 'Patriot' saw a significant drop in collections. On Friday (Day 8), the film managed to earn only Rs 76 lakh across 996 shows. This brings the total India gross collections to Rs 32.18 crore and the total India net to Rs 27.74 crore as of now.
