Riteish Deshmukh's historical drama 'Raja Shivaji', based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, has been receiving immense love from audiences. The film has completed two weeks in theatres and continues to collect low but steady numbers. It has grossed over Rs 100 crore at the box office and is now aiming to set new benchmarks. Despite a reduction in the number of shows due to new releases, the film maintains a strong hold at the ticket windows.
'Raja Shivaji' Box Office Collection Day 18
Riteish Deshmukh plays the titular role in the film. Although initially some felt he was miscast as the Maratha emperor, he has impressed everyone with his performance.
In its first week, the historical drama earned Rs 52.65 crore, followed by Rs 24.30 crore in the second week. According to a Sacnilk report, on Day 18, the film collected Rs 1.15 crore across 2,165 shows. The total India gross collection has now reached Rs 101.42 crore, with the India net collection at Rs 85.70 crore.
On Day 18, the movie earned Rs 10 lakh in overseas markets, bringing the total overseas gross to Rs 4.00 crore. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 105.42 crore.
