Ram Charan's latest film 'Peddi' has opened to a strong response at the box office. As the film crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide on its opening day, Ram Charan's wife, Upasana Konidela, took part in the celebrations.
Upasana Konidela Celebrates 'Peddi' Success
In a video circulating online among various fan accounts, a celebration can be seen which begins with bursting firecrackers, with several fans and well-wishers standing around as Upasana Konidela can be seen joining them in the celebrations. Dressed in a simple pink kurta set, Upasana looked happy as she celebrated the film's success with people gathered.
She can be seen cutting a large customized cake which was designed with the film's poster. It has words written as, 'Peddi Blockbuster.' The cake also featured five stars, symbolising the positive response the film has received from many viewers. The cake also includes five stars on the borders. Speaking of her attire, Upasana was seen in a simple pink kurta and looked happy as she celebrated the film's success with the fans and well-wishers. During her visit, she interacted with the children and fans who were present at the venue. Upasana was also seen distributing pieces of cake and spending some time with them in the celebrations.
Along with Upasana, Ram Charan's bodyguard Kevin Kunta, who went viral protecting Ram Charan during the film's promotional events, was also spotted at the venue for her safety. Additionally, Ram Charan and Upasana's pet dog Rhyme can also be captured in the video.
Upasana Konidela Spotted in Theatres
Earlier, Upasana Konidela along with her family was also spotted in a special screening of 'Peddi' in Hyderabad. She can be seen joining the audience and enthusiastically cheering for Ram Charan's scenes. They can be seen celebrating with loud cheers and throwing confetti.
About 'Peddi'
Speaking about 'Peddi,' the film has been receiving positive to mixed reviews from the audience. On its first day, the film minted over Rs 51 crore in India. Recently, the makers announced that it collected over Rs 135.36 crore worldwide. The film tells the story of Peddi, who is a talented sportsman excelling in cricket, wrestling, and professional sprinting. The film also includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in important roles.
