Gaurav Khanna Sets the Record Straight on Viral Dance Video

The stylish outing comes amidst a wave of online chatter concerning a video of Akanksha dancing at a party, which went viral and attracted unwarranted trolling from some social media users. The incident took place at a success party hosted by her husband, actor Gaurav Khanna's publicist.

Addressing the criticism head-on, Gaurav gave a clear explanation to Hungamastudio. He clarified that the women Akanksha was dancing with were members of his publicist's team, who had worked tirelessly for him during his stint inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. "It was their success party, and we were there to be a part of their celebration," he stated.

Gaurav further elaborated, "As I don't enjoy dancing much, my wife Akanksha felt she should join them and make the moment bigger, as it was everyone's victory. I just stood behind and let her enjoy it, as it was my team's win after all. They were the people who worked hard for me in my absence, and they also deserve to enjoy themselves." He pointed out that many critics were unaware of the context and the people involved.

"Trolls Don't Bother Us," Says a Supportive Gaurav

Speaking further on the issue, Gaurav Khanna made it abundantly clear that such online negativity holds no power over their relationship or happiness. He expressed a mature understanding of trolling dynamics, suggesting that some operate with a specific agenda.

"As far as trolls are concerned, I don't get affected by them as I understand they are fans of someone. They also function with an agenda that will bring this couple down," he remarked. He concluded with a firm and positive stance: "I don't bother about trolls. We are very happy with our lives. I'm very happy that my wife is an extrovert and has a no-filter attitude. I love that about her."

He even extended an olive branch to the detractors, adding in Hindi, "Aur jinko nahi pasand naraha hoon shayad agle project mein pasand aajaun. I will try my best to win them over as well."
