Alix Earle Opens Up About Emotional Encounter with Ex Braxton Berrios
Alix Earle Shares Emotional Reaction to Running Into Ex

After months of public speculation about their breakup, influencer Alix Earle gave followers a personal glimpse into the reality of moving on. In a TikTok posted Monday, the 25-year-old admitted that a casual night out with friends turned unexpectedly emotional after she ran into her former boyfriend, Braxton Berrios. The couple split in December 2025 after more than two years together, but Earle’s latest comments show that even friendly exes can stir up old feelings in ways people don't always anticipate—especially in public settings where every interaction is noticed.

What Happened When Alix Earle Ran Into Braxton Berrios?

Earle did not describe the encounter as hostile or awkward at first. In fact, she said they were joking around while spending time with mutual friends. However, the mood shifted during a photo moment that initially seemed harmless.

"It was normal and fine, and we were joking around with each other. Someone that we both are friends with was taking photos of us together, and then it was like, 'Oh Alix, get a solo shot'... That's when I pushed him out of the way," she recounted. "It was funny and fun, and then it wasn't."

That quick emotional turn became the center of her TikTok. Earle explained that after the interaction, she caught herself scanning the room throughout the night instead of relaxing with friends. The realization seemed to hit her in real time.

"I think that really sucked," she admitted while removing her makeup on camera.

The video stood out because Earle avoided dramatics. She acknowledged her eyes looked swollen from crying but also made it clear there was no bad blood between them. Instead, she framed the moment as something messy and human. For followers used to curated influencer content, that honesty landed differently.

As the night continued, she said the emotions became harder to hide. One friend eventually noticed she was crying, forcing Earle to admit what was happening.

"Sometimes you just can't help it. Sometimes you're just a girl, and sometimes water just falls out of your eyes. And sometimes that happens, and that's okay," she continued. "So I did the responsible thing and called myself a car home and cried to my dog, but I'm fine."

The latest encounter came only weeks after Earle and Berrios were seen talking at the Sports Illustrated x Authentic Brands Group party in Miami during Formula 1 weekend. Video from that event showed the Houston Texans receiver greeting Earle warmly with a hug and kiss on the cheek.

At the time, Earle explained she approached him intentionally to avoid unnecessary tension. "I didn't want to be awkward, lingering around, so I just ripped the Band Aid off and was like, 'I'm gonna go up and say hi,'" she said in another TikTok recap.
