Teji Bachchan, born Teji Suri, married renowned poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan in Allahabad in 1941. After her marriage, she embraced the role of a homemaker but never lost her passion for the arts. She was a known lover of the stage and would often sing at social gatherings when requested. The couple was blessed with two sons, Amitabh and Ajitabh Bachchan.
