Now, according to recent reports, he may also join forces with Adhik Ravichandran, the director of the upcoming film 'Good Bad Ugly', for an action entertainer.
Adhik Ravichandran Approaches Balakrishna
As per a report by Valai Pechu, Adhik Ravichandran has approached Balakrishna with an action-oriented script. The director is reportedly keen on creating a mass entertainer featuring the senior star. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Balakrishna or Adhik Ravichandran regarding this collaboration.
Adhik Ravichandran had earlier confirmed that his next project would be his second collaboration with Ajith Kumar, tentatively referred to as 'AK64'. Many anticipated that the film would commence soon, but recent reports suggest a delay. During this waiting period, Adhik Ravichandran is believed to be exploring other projects, including the one with Balakrishna.
Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni Project
Nandamuri Balakrishna is preparing for his upcoming film tentatively titled 'NBK111', directed by Gopichand Malineni. While Nayanthara was initially reported to be the female lead, recent reports indicate that Kajal Aggarwal might join the project instead.
Balakrishna and Koratala Siva Film
In addition to 'NBK111', Balakrishna has announced a film with 'Devara' director Koratala Siva, tentatively called 'NBK112'. The project is reportedly titled 'Carpenter'. Music director Anirudh Ravichander is expected to compose the songs and background score. According to a report by VSN Murthy, also known as Devipriya, the film is likely to go on floors in August 2026. There is also speculation that a special muhurat ceremony may be held on June 25, 2026.
Balakrishna's Recent Work
Speaking of Balakrishna's latest work, he was last seen in 'Akhanda 2: Thaandavam', directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The film continued the story of the 2021 hit 'Akhanda'. It featured Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menon, and Harshaali Malhotra in prominent roles.
