Actor Bharatt Bhatia, who portrayed the parallel lead Raghav Choudhary in Tose Naina Milaike 2, recently shared his thoughts on the show's abrupt conclusion, his upcoming projects, and the persistent financial challenges actors encounter in the television sector. The series debuted on March 16, 2026, and concluded within just two months, evoking strong emotions from viewers and the cast alike.
Accepting the End
“It is natural to feel sad and experience a sense of emptiness when a beloved series ends, but that’s part of life,” Bharatt remarked. “Sometimes an ending is just the beginning of something much bigger and more exciting, so I have no regrets.” Despite the brief run, the actor looks back with appreciation. “It was lovely working with producers, along with such an amazing team of actors and directors. I got to learn a lot while being on set,” he shared.
Future Aspirations
Now that the show is off air, Bharatt is concentrating on personal development and preparing for wider opportunities. “As an actor, I’m planning to learn new skills to strengthen my personality—like singing and mastering different accents,” he explained. He also revealed that OTT platforms are a domain he is actively pursuing. “With the rise of streaming services, I’m auditioning for web series because they offer opportunities similar to television and films.”
Versatility Over Labels
The actor emphasized that he does not want to be confined to a single genre. “Roles are often categorised as romantic, villainous, or comedic, but I want to explore all shades over time and grow as a versatile actor,” he said. “Of course, I would prefer playing lead roles or characters that suit my personality, but honestly, I’m excited by any role that keeps my passion for acting alive.”
Industry's Payment Crisis
Bharatt became candid when discussing what he considers one of the television industry's biggest problems: delayed payments. “The biggest issue is the 90-day payment cycle, which becomes a major setback for actors like me,” he stated. “Sometimes we literally have to beg productions for our payments, and that’s extremely frustrating.” He added that these irregularities create severe financial stress, especially during periods without work. “This experience is one of the worst parts of the industry, and I’ve faced it many times. I genuinely want to see a change in the payment system because it’s a major issue affecting most actors today,” he concluded.
