A major development occurred on WWE television this week involving popular actor and upcoming Netflix movie Little Brother star Eric Andre. Known for his remarkable work in the entertainment industry, Andre was recently revealed to be a wrestling fan after his appearance on the June 15, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW, which did not end well for him.
Who Is Netflix Actor Eric Andre?
Eric Andre has been part of the film and television industry since 2009. The 43-year-old actor's most renowned work is creating the comedy series The Eric Andre Show, for which he is the co-writer, creator, and host. Apart from that, his other notable works include Man Seeking Woman and the MCU mini-series Ironheart. Moreover, his upcoming Netflix project Little Brother will see him star alongside WWE's Greatest of All Time, John Cena, and is set to release on June 26, 2025. Besides his acting roles, Eric Andre has also built an impressive voice-over career, lending his voice to projects like the live-action version of The Lion King (2019), Sing 2, and Trolls Band Together.
In regard to his personal life, Eric Andre was in a relationship with Rosario Dawson for a year. In March 2021, Andre revealed that he was dating a woman whom he met at a farmer's market and began to get to know after they started their romantic affair.
Why Was Eric Andre Attacked by Jacob Fatu on WWE RAW?
Eric Andre made his appearance as an audience member for the June 15 episode of WWE RAW. He was spotted as RAW went on the air on Netflix. However, his actions got him in the crosshairs of The Bloodline. The show opened with Roman Reigns officially accepting Jacob Fatu into The Bloodline and placing a Ula-Fala around his neck. As Fatu was leaving, he went past Eric Andre, who fiddled with the sacred Ula-Fala.
This enraged Fatu, who pulled Andre from the crowd and began attacking him. As he tossed him into the ring, Fatu then delivered a huge splash onto him. WWE officials tried to stop him, but Fatu managed to hit Andre with multiple splashes, a shocking sight to witness. With this new development, it remains to be seen if Andre will press any charges against Fatu moving forward.
