Pranit More, who won hearts with his journey on Bigg Boss 19, has been making headlines amid a recent controversy. A clip from his comedy show went viral, and the comedian has been receiving hate on social media since then. Kunickaa Sadanand recently expressed her support for Pranit More after commenting on his apology video. Kunickaa has now shared a new video reacting to the controversy.
Kunickaa's Video on the Biryani Controversy
Kunickaa took to her X handle (previously Twitter) and shared a new video discussing the Rs 370 biryani controversy. She said, “Hamare society mein kuch log ab bhi yeh samajhte hain ki agar maine dinner pay kiya, gift diya, ya trip sponsor ki, toh samne waale par koi obligation ho gayi. Aur bahut si ladkiyan bina kisi pressure ke apne andar hi andar guilty feel karne lagti hain. (Translation: In our society, some people still believe that if they pay for dinner, give a gift, or sponsor a trip, the other person incurs an obligation. And many women, without any external pressure, start feeling guilty deep down).”
She further added, “The conversation started with a Rs 370 biryani, but the issue is much bigger. Does kindness mean repayment? Or is gratitude enough?” The post grabbed many eyeballs on the internet, with users reacting to it. Pranit, on the other hand, shared a video reacting to the viral clip. He apologised for the same and requested fans to give him another chance.
Teaching Sons About Consent
Kunickaa then mentioned teaching sons about consent and how one dinner does not grant access to women. She added, “We must also teach our sons. Ki agar tum kisiko dinner khilate ho toh tumne ek dinner khilaya hai, tumne koi haq nahi khareeda. (If you buy dinner for someone, it does not mean you have bought a right over that person).”
Support for Pranit More
She also commented on Pranit’s recent post, expressing her support for him. She wrote, “Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone has the courage to own it. @rj_pranit, you are a good boy with the right values, but as I always said, roasting or crowd work can carry you away, especially as an entertainer, when you see people reacting and laughing. I hope people forgive you, and I also hope people change their attitude towards women/girls. You were not the cause of a generational mindset; you were one of the many who inherited this mindset from generations of objectification. God bless you. I’m sure you will be back with brilliant content. Stay strong, stay mindful.”
Kunickaa and Pranit were both part of Bigg Boss 19 and shared a good bond in and out of the show. Apart from Kunickaa, Shehbaz Badesha and Nehal Chudasama have also expressed their support for Pranit More.
