Television actress Malini Kapoor is currently embracing the beautiful winter season in Jaipur, creating cherished memories with her family while exploring the city's rich historical heritage and indulging in local delicacies.
Family Reunion in the Pink City
Married to Jaipur local Ajay Sharma, Malini Kapoor is enjoying an extended vacation in her marital city. The actress was joined by her elder sister Shalini Kapoor along with her family, making it a special family reunion. "Winters is the best time to spend in the pink city," shared Malini enthusiastically. "My sister Shalini too loves Jaipur weather so she too joined us with my brother in law and niece. It was kind of an extended vacation for us."
The Kapoor sisters spent nearly a week together in Jaipur, with Malini emphasizing that their children enjoyed the experience the most. Despite being married for 12 years and visiting Jaipur regularly, the actress revealed she rarely gets opportunities to properly explore the city's historical treasures.
Historical Exploration and Royal Experience
The family embarked on a cultural journey through Jaipur's most iconic landmarks. They visited the magnificent Nahargarh Fort and the opulent City Palace, both offering breathtaking views and rich historical insights.
"Though it's been 12 years that I got married here and have been coming quite regularly, I rarely get a chance to see these places," Malini confessed. "So this time, since my sister and Jijaji were here we thought of a quick tour to these places. To visit them was great feel."
The family opted for a guided tour that deepened their understanding of Rajasthan's royal legacy. "I felt like going back to the olden times and see how the royals used to live," Malini expressed. "It was a guided tour and we got to learn so much about Rajasthan and its rich history. My niece Aadya just loved it."
Shopping Therapy in Traditional Bazaars
Beyond historical exploration, the Kapoor sisters indulged in extensive shopping across Jaipur's famous markets. Malini, using her local knowledge, took her family to the renowned Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar.
"Now I know the famous shopping markets here," said Malini. "So I took them all to the famous Bapu Bazaar and Nehru Bazaar to pick some stuff like Jaipuri bed sheets and jootis."
The winter break proved to be a perfect blend of cultural immersion, family bonding, and retail therapy. Malini Kapoor's Jaipur vacation showcases why the Pink City remains one of India's most beloved winter destinations, offering something special for every type of traveler.
